It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Terry A. Smith of Goodwater, Alabama, born in Clay, Alabama, who passed away on February 13, 2021, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe T. Smith and Irene Moore Smith; his brothers, Joe L. Smith and Jimmy R. Smith; his sister-in-law Joyce Smith; and his son-in-law Gary Todd Dean.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Sellers Smith of Goodwater; his children, Scott Allan Smith (Jennifer) of Leeds and Sandy Smith Dean of Jacksons Gap; his grandchildren, Blair Sellers Smith, Benjamin Scott Smith and Maggie Elizabeth Dean; his brother Elliot Harold Smith (Nelwyn); his sister-in-law Shelba Smith; and his friends, Robert Young and Huron Patterson. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions be made to Liberty United Methodist Church, 1630 Liberty Road, Goodwater, AL, 35072.
