She was predeceased by: her stepmother Essie Mae Bowman McVey; her husband Clifton Red Forrest; and her siblings, Ruby Gravette, Clifton McVey, James Earl McVey, Wayne McVey, Calvin McVey, Jerry McVey, Charles McVey and Lillian Dye.
She is survived by: her siblings, Inez Jones of Goodwater, Robert McVey of Goodwater, Effie Little of Alexander City, Glenda Moore of Ashland, Bobby McVey of Eastaboga and Waydean Bishop of Bluff Springs. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
