She was predeceased by: her parents, Melvin Lee Jackson and Bernice Jackson; her husband Ryland Jones; her son Brandon Quincy Jones; and her brothers, Michael, Melvin Lee Jr., Alfred (Jackson) and Dexter (Webster).
She is survived by: her sons, Laterrance Jackson (Serena) and Ryan Khalil Jones (Atiah); her grandchildren, Laterrance II, Martia, David, Darren, Tavion, James, Kari (Littles), Elias and Amir; and her siblings, Lille Ruth, Leroy, Brenda, Armentha, Dwight, Angela, Kelly Reeves and Debra Shepard.
