With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dorothy Turner of Goodwater, Alabama, born in Shelby, Alabama, who passed away on May 24, 2022 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Sidney F. Dennis and Jocelyn K. Kimbrell Dennis; her husband J. W. Turner; and her siblings, Adele Thornton, Shirley Chastain, Lloyd Dennis, Ernie Joe Dennis and Larry Dennis.
She is survived by: her children, Tony B. Turner (Lou Ann) of Goodwater and Bonny T. Mann (Harry) of Alexander City; her grandchildren, Josie Forbus, Brandon Turner (Beth), Alex Turner (Joni), April Turner and Barry Mann (Robyn); her great grandchildren, Brooks Turner, Sam Turner and Emily Turner; and her brother Floyd Dennis (Marie). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions be made to Bradford United Methodist Church, 18794 Highway 9, Goodwater, Al, 35072 or a charity of one's choice.
