He was predeceased by: his parents, Lonzo Gardner and Ruby Barnett; his wife Gloria Gardner; his great grandchild Gianna; and his brother Ronny Gardner.
He is survived by: his children, Melinda Gardner (Charles) and Lynn Gardner (Amber) of Kellyton; his grandchildren, Candace (Dedric), Scott, Alex, Brittany (Wesley), Hunter and Julie; his great grandchildren, Kenzie, Maddie, Cam and Elliot; and his brothers, John Gardner, James Gardner (Shirley) and Wade Champion. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and a large extended family.
