It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Deacon Jerrel Sigers of Glenwood, Alabama, who passed away on September 23, 2022, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Earnest Sigers; and his children, William Gully, Catherine Bernice Thomas-Morrissette and Willie H. Thomas (Karen). He is survived by: his wife Elder Elizabeth Sigers; his children, Sue Coleman (Robert) of Antioch, TN, Jeanette Sigers-Snow, Jerrel Sigers, Jr. (Michelle), James Thomas (Evelyn) of Brantley, AL, Robert Thomas (Tammy) of Luverne, AL and Jesse Thomas of Worchester, MA; his sisters, Clara Mae Smith of Columbus, GA, Joann Sigers of Columbus, OH, Patsy Sigers of Columbus, OH, Louise Hibbs (Bishop Robert Sr.) of Glenwood, AL, Sara Parham (Jimmie) of Rutledge, AL, Ethel Stringer of Boston, MA and Suffragan Bishop George E. Stringer (Palma Shay) of Brantley, AL; and his grandchildren, Shanet Oliver, Derrick Coleman, TamoraJa'nice Snow-Howard (Gregory), Orum Snow Jr., Brendon (Leslie), Roderick (Dianndria), Davina Morrissette, Kayla Sigers and Shayla Sigers. He is also survived by twenty-two great grandchildren; special relatives, two devoted nephews.
