He was predeceased by: his father Slater Diamond; and his stepfather Milton "Mickey" Clark. He is survived by: his wife Charlotte Donald Diamond; his mother Alice Mazingo Clark; his daughter Shannon Johnson (Jonathan); his granddaughters, Cassi Diamond and Chyan Johnson; and his siblings, Bobby Diamond (Beverly), Mike Diamond (Chris), Janice Brown (Jerry) and Paula Newton (Perry).
