He is survived by: his wife Sharon Coody Smith of Gilbertown, AL; his son David Smith of Mobile, AL; his siblings, Donald "Don" Smith (Cindy) of Mobile, AL and Sharon Lundsford of Mobile, AL; and his close friends, Randy Duncan and Jim Boyd. He is also survived by five grandchildren; seven great grandchildren.
