He is survived by: his children, Eric Dale McIlwain of Silas, AL, Michelle Lynn McIlwain Kirkland (Lynn) of Millry, AL and Tricia Renee McIlwain Sikes (James Mathis) of Meridian, MS; his siblings, Joseph "Sonny" McIlwain (Sylvia) of Silas, AL, Terry McIlwain (Jackie) of Butler, AL, Larry McIlwain (Julie) of Panama City, FL and Joycelyn McIlwain Watkins (Nelson) of Butler, AL; and his grandchildren, Joshua Wesley Kirkland (Sydney), Jennifer Lynn Kirkland Whigham (Joshua), Andrew Kenneth Sikes, Jared Daniel Sikes, Aaron Alexander Sikes, Destiny Hope McIlwain and Heidi Claire McIlwain.
