He is survived by: his wife Betty Sue Gibson Dew of Womack Hill, AL; his son Jimmy Dew, Jr. (Suzanne) of Millry, AL; his brothers, Wayne Dew (Joyce) of Womack Hill, AL and Jerry Dew (Kathy) of Womack Hill, AL; and his grandchildren, Brennan Dew and Katie Beth Dew.
