She was predeceased by: her husband W. E. "Biggie" Vinson; her grandsons, Michael David Turner, Mark Allen Janczak and Anthony Joseph Janczak; and her brother Amos Wesley "Buddy" Sikes.

She is survived by: her grandchild Lance Shannon Vinson; her great grandchildren, Lance Shannon Vinson II, Greg Turner, Gary Patrick Turner, Robin Turner-Macaluso and Sheri Stegent; and also Emily Irene Stairhime.
