Bowerman (Chess) of Gilbertown, AL; his siblings, Chester Gilbert of Houston, TX, Biven Gilbert of Pennington, AL, Ronald Gilbert of Naples, FL, Melice Praytor of Talbot, TN and Maxine Morris of Naples, FL; his grandchildren, Trey Johnson (Lindsey), Tanner J. Funk (Justin), Chesley B. Jones (Dakota) and Cheston Bowerman; and his great grandchildren, Jayke Jones, Martha Claire Johnson, Ciddie Jones and Maxie Thompson.
