She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert Albert Chappell and Vivian Eudora Lolley Chappell; her husband Albert Franklin Boykin; her great grandchild Jacob Beck; and her siblings, Ernie Chappell, Dennis Chappell, Herbert Chappell, Aaron Chappell, Billy Chappell, Katherine Reeves, Mary Chappell and Coloen Gibson.
She is survived by: her children, Roy F. Boykin (Jeanette) of Gilbertown, AL, W. D. Boykin (Kay) of Pleasant Hill, AL, Roland K. Boykin (Darlene) of Pleasant Hill, AL, Elaine Boykin Pruitt of Pleasant Hill, AL and Shelia Boykin Newell (Wayman) of Lauderdale, MS; her sister Mable Kahalley of Mobile, AL; and her grandchildren, Joel Boykin, Marlon Boykin, Frank Patrick, Amy Parker, Jamie Patrick, Kim Elliot, Josh Boykin, Jarrod Boykin, Amanda Masters, Cody Boykin, Corey Boykin, Cristee Utsey, Tammy Tyson, Melissa McLaney, Stephanie Newell and Casey Parkison. She is also survived by great grandchildren; and approximately 80 nieces and nephews.
