Verlon M. White Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Verlon M. White of Geraldine, Alabama, who passed away on April 10, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Louise White; his parents, Odis White and Teressa White; his children, David McKinley White and Anita Strange; his sons-in-law, Junior Whitlock and Jerry Logan; his siblings, Rayburn White, Wayne White, Mildred Fischer and Theo Phillips; his nephew Johnny Phillips; and his niece Charlotte Lee.
He is survived by: his daughters, Linda Dowdey (Tommy), Wanda Whitlock and Glenda Logan; his close friend Martina Sorter; his son-in-law Travis Strange; his grandchildren, David Whitlock (Alana), Steven Dowdey (Tina), Kevin Whitlock (Tonya), Chris Dowdey, Greg Logan (Kaci), Josh Strange (Cassey), Jordan Strange (Jessie) and Katie Blackmon; and his niece Brenda Logan. He is also survived by 22 great-grandchildren, 6 great-great-grandchildren.
