He was predeceased by: his parents, Starling Houston Davis and Mary Nell Davis Chosen; and his grandson Chad Bodine. He is survived by: his wife Rita Davis (Huff); his children, Jeff Davis (Michelle), Jason Davis (Lidia) and Donna Isbell (Sammy); his grandchildren, Christopher Davis, Brooklyn Davis, Mitchell Davis, John Evan Davis Chosen and Brad Bodine (Jessica); and his siblings, Sonja Davis Newman (Howard) and Tyrone Davis (Mary).
