He was loved and cherished by many people including : his wife Linda Collins; his children, Steve Ledbetter (Darlene), Jamie Sparrow (Todd), Brian Collins (Sharon), Sammy Ledbetter, Steven Collins (Michael) and Jon Mark Collins; his grandchildren, Amy Adams, Heather Myles (Matt), Brittany Ledbetter, Adam Collins (Fallon), Marshall Johnson (Amber), Sarah Johnson (Mac), and Ashton Ledbetter (Nic); his great grandchildren, Addison Claire, Easton Hart, Ava Harly, Hadley Alora, Eli David and Marlo; his siblings, Clyde Collins (Barbara), Arvilla Bryant (Bill) and Beam Collins (Pat); and his parents, Joe Valdor Collins and Ada Collins.
