He was predeceased by: his parents, John Atchison and Gladys Carter Atchison; his brother Roger Atchison; and his great grandchild Madelyn Odom. He is survived by: his wife Geraldine Atchison of Andalusia; his son Carl Atchison; his daughter-in-law Angie Atchison of Libertyville; his daughter Teresa Hale; his son-in-law Tom Hale of Andalusia; his grandchildren, Justin Odom (Kaylah) of Minnesota and Tommy Boyett (Brittany) of Colorado; and his great grandchildren, Addison Henderson, Paige Boyett, Andrea Boyett, Savannah Boyett, Kylee Odom, McKenzie Odom and Sam Mesko.
