She was predeceased by: her daughter Elizabeth Taylor; her granddaughter Shannon Black; and her parents, Perry Shepherd and Effie Shepherd. She is survived by: her daughter Ellen Black (Jan); her granddaughters, Betsy Pearcey (Kevin) and Jenna Thomas (Seth); her great grandchildren, Brickley Thomas, Sarah Pearcey and Norah Pearcey; and her sisters, Annie Hyde, Nell Morris and Doris Kalanian. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
