She was predeceased by: her parents, Claude Covan and Rebecca Covan; her siblings, Lucille C. Crysell, Lorraine C. Kogos, Stafford Covan and Ullman Covan (Bud); and her husband Benton M. Nix.
She is survived by: her daughters, Lisa N. Brooks and Patricia Nix; her pet Rodney Nix; her grandchildren, Spencer Brooks and Billie Brooks; her niece Linda Covan Cole (Robert); and her nephews, Gene Covan (Ada), Carl Covan, Ronald Kogos (Kathy), Gerald Kogos (Kitty) and Don Kogos (Colleen).
