He is survived by: his wife Sheridan Moseley Hanks; his children, Mark Hanks (Kelly) of Prattville, Alabama, Jeffrey Hanks (Celina) of Prattville, Alabama and Alicia Hanks Hernández (Francis) of Pike Road, Alabama.; his grandchildren, Hanna Hanks Taylor (Patrick), Gabriel Hanks (Kaileigh), Kendrick Hanks, MaCrae Hanks, Keirstin Gibson (Amberly), Hunter Gibson, Helen Hernández and Joseph Hernández; his great grandchildren, Paislee Kayte Taylor and Emerie Ryan; and his pet Buddy. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
