He was predeceased by: his brother James Edward Harris. He is survived by: his wife Arnetta Johnson Harris; his children, Desmond Harris (Samantha), Marketta Moore (Lukas), Shanequea Harris (Brandi) and Kensley Cook-Hartley; his parents, Woodrow and Elba Brown Harris, Sr.; and his siblings, Woodrow Harris, Jr. (Catherine), Barbara Foster (Joe) and Linda Bristow (Samuel). He is also survived by four grandchildren, numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Alabama Kidney Foundation, in Mr. Harris' name.
