It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Thomas Helms of Geneva, Alabama, who passed away on August 14, 2021, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Leslie Cryle and Evie Grace Moore Helms; and his siblings, Harold, Margaret Helms, Gerald Helms, Patricia Jackson and Ricky Helms.
He is survived by: his daughter Leah Helms of Brantley, AL; his grandchildren, Noah Morgan, Nate Welmon and Isabelle Sanders; his siblings, Lamar Helms (Bonita) of Enterprise, AL, Ann Bresynan (Ed) of Gainsville, FL, Sandra Bowers (Johnny) of Westville, FL and Wayne Helms (Tammi) of Geneva, AL; and his friend Coach Gary Grantham of Geneva, AL.. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Graveside funeral services will be held at El Bethel Baptist Church cemetery, at a later date, due to Covid.
