He is survived by: his wife Lorene Nevels; his children, Angela Louise Nevels of Geneva, Dinah Pippin of Freeport, FL and Terry Benefield of Geneva; his grandchildren, Amanda Shaffer, Forrest Farris, Mark Smith (Nichole) of DeFuniak Springs, FL and Sophia Benefield of Louisiana; his great grandchildren, Kaylin Shaffer, Madison Smith, Natalie Smith, Adriana, Stephen Benefield and Raenne; and his sister Martha Ann Kelley of Dothan. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
