He was predeceased by: his parents, Franklin Levoy and Betty Jo Braswell Kirkland; his niece Callie Deanna Bryan Siggers; his nephews, Jonathon Lloyd Stone and Marshall Codie McCormick; and his father-in-law Rex Hallford, Jr..
He is survived by: his wife Lori Ann Hallford Kirkland; his daughters, Krystal Ann Kirkland Pierson (Josh) and Dr. Randi Leigh Kirkland; his granddaughter Mary Maddox "Maddie" Pierson; his sisters, Callie Faye Bryan, Rhonda Jo Stone and Mary Janet McCormick; his nephew Calvin Lavoy Bryan; his niece Hope Jenece McCormick; his mother-in-law Mary Hallford; and his brothers-in-law, Rodney Hallford, Jimmie Bryan and David Wayne McCormick. He is also survived by several cousins, extended relatives and friends.
