She was predeceased by: her parents, John Will and Effie Thompson (Mims); her husband William Jack Trant; her son Roger L. Trant; and her siblings, Willis B. "Dock" Thompson, Wilbur D. Thompson, William Franklin Thompson, Lovie Lee Bryan, Evie Treadwell, Ivey Brannon, Arvie Neel and Lavelle Miller.
She is survived by: her children, Linda Trant Watson (Jim), Sue Bargeron and Sid J. Trant (Angel); her grandchildren, Kristi Weatherford, Jay Watson, Jon Watson, Lia Bargeron, Allie Vance and Adam Trant; her siblings, Doferice Thompson (Rebecca) and Dorothy McWhirter; and her friends, Lorene Crutchfield and Donna Battles. She is also survived by her five great grandchildren.
