He was predeceased by: his sisters, Claudine Starrett, Julia Ivey and Patsy Skipper; his stepdaughter Sabrina Jones Thomas (Alan); and his father Carl Aldoph.
He is survived by: his wife Vonzene Hand-Capshaw; his nephew Kym Arnold (Amy); his siblings, Lucile Capshaw, JoAnn Spencer, Cynthia Post and Jimmy Capshaw (Kitty); his stepchildren, Steve Hand (Connie), Sherri Vernon (Dave) and Julie Hobbs Ron (George); and his friend May God. He is also survived by several step grandchildren, and great grands, nieces, and nephews.
