He was predeceased by: his parents, William Jonah Bracewell and Lela McLeod Bracewell; and his siblings, Mae, Romona and James.

He is survived by: his siblings, William "Duck" Bracewell, Idell, Adine and Charles. He is also survived by many numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
