He was predeceased by: his parents, Jay Brown and Rubye Curry Brown; and his brothers, Jack and J. R. Brown. He is survived by: his wife Carol Brown of Geneva, AL; his children, Jaden Brown of Lake Martin, AL and John Mark Johnson (Adra) of Geneva, AL; his grandchildren, John Parker and Ellie Johnson; and his sisters, Lillie Smith, Jeanette Smith (Clyde) and Iris Smith (Jerry). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
