It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joyce Yvonne Ward of Geneva, Alabama, born in Bonifay, Florida, who passed away on October 31, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Franklin and Lena Clara Ogburn Freeman; her daughter Jenay Walters; and her grandson Jeremy Lane Miller. She is survived by: her children, Kevin Ward of Geneva, Cindy Miller of Geneva and Tracy Miller of Geneva; her grandchildren, Jason Hall of Geneva, Brandi Hall of Geneva, Michael Miller of Geneva and Nicholas Branch (Leslie) of Banner Elk, NC; and her sisters, Judy Yeomans Hartford (Charlie) and Joan Race (Bob). She is also survived by seven great grandchildren.
