It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Lewis of Geneva, Alabama, born in Brewton, Alabama, who passed away on July 8, 2020, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, J. Clyde Lewis and Hattie B. Miller Lewis; and his sisters, Patricia Molahan of Miami, FL and Dorothy Corbett. He is survived by: his wife Sybil Shields Lewis of Geneva; his children, Vickie Madden (Dave) of Hartford, Kelly Chodor (Vince) and Joey Lewis (Shelly) of Colorado Springs, CO; his grandchildren, Zachary of Dothan, Tori of Picyune, Michael of Colorado Springs, John of Colorado Springs and Abby of Colorado Springs; his great grandchild Lillian; his sister Myrna Jones of Prattville; and his nieces and nephews, Mickey, Colleen, David, Traci, Jodi, John Jr., Deanna, Darrell, Jason, Rob, Melissa, Jared, Julie, Lee, Adam, Blake and Casey.
