He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester Rogers and Willie Mae Rogers (Holcomb); and his sister Hannah Miller (Howard). He is survived by: his wife Susan Trotter; his children, Joel Rogers, Jr. (Lara) and Rita Rogers McCollum (Chris); his grandchildren, Thomas Rogers, Noah Rogers, Sarah Rogers, Dakota McCollum, Bailey McCollum, Brooklyn McCollum and Dixon McCollum; his aunt Flora Bell Rogers; and his siblings, Robbie Satterfield (Ray) and Carl Rogers (Linda). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
