He was predeceased by: his parents, James Willis and Frances Rebecca Sketoe Mixon; his wife Linda Gail Mixon; and his sister Daphne Thames. He is survived by: his children, Ricky Earl Mixon (Jennie) of Bowie, MD, Tracy Odell (Jerry) of Geneva, AL, Jennifer Tindol of Geneva, AL and Jason Mixon of Geneva, AL; his grandchildren, Hayley Gonzalez (Sawyer), Timothy Odell, Ashely Odell, Alyssa Tindol and Teagan Tindol; his great grandchildren, Chase and Alice Gonzalez; and his siblings, Lorna Gillis (Jackie) of Geneva, AL, Wayne Mixon (Margaret) of Geneva, AL, Cecil Mixon (Linda) of Geneva, AL, Jerry Mixon of Geneva, AL, Ray Gene Mixon (Mary) of Geneva, AL and Junior Mixon (Judy) of Geneva, AL. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
