He was predeceased by: his parents, Bishop Marvin Tice and Bernice Baucum Tice; and his siblings, Merle Hendrix Brown, Irene Lister, Lois Wheeler, Robbie Wilson, Jane Materna, Polly Pettit, Bill Tice and Jim Tice.
He is survived by: his wife Jane Sullivan Tice of Geneva; his sons, Steven Tice (Paula) of Headland, David Tice (Heather) of Dothan and Joe Tice (Jennie) of Titus, AL; his stepchildren, Scott Hickman (Stephanie) of Tuscaloosa and Melissa Herman (Mark) of Huntsville; his grandchildren, Will, Baker Hickman of Tuscaloosa, Harrison Tice of Dothan and Paige Herman of Huntsville; and his brothers, Jerry Tice, Tommy Tice and Dale Tice.
