He is survived by: his children, Kim Tanner (Ashley) of Coffee Springs, AL, David Gilmore (Jessica) of Chancellor, AL, Rachelle Sosa (Jesse) of Mansfield, TX and Britt Thames (Jamie) of Macon, GA; and his siblings, Jerry Gilmore of Grassy Creek, NC, Lowell Gilmore (Karen) of Eufaula, AL and Janet Tinsley (Jack) of Samson, AL. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
