He is survived by: his children, Donna Mitchell, Kelly Mitchell and Mike Mitchell; his granddaughter Brittany Armstrong; his sister Mary Frances Vann; his sister-in-law Opal Mitchell; and his former wife Betty Peak. He is also survived by six grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
