“I am so sorry to hear of Candace’s passing. I held a strong love for her in my heart since 1987 when I first met her in Cheyenne, Wyoming, when she was 7, and had the lucky opportunity to be with her as a big sister for almost two years. After that we somewhat irregularly kept in touch until most recently, more than a year ago when she reached out and told me she had cancer. I flew from California to see her and meet her son, Christian. My heart is broken. I send condolences to her family.”
