He was predeceased by: his parents, Emmette Wooten Cox and Lydia McCaskill Cox. He is survived by: his friend Grocery; his wife Carol Cox of Geneva; his sons, Robert Cox (Andrea) of Enterprise and Chris Cox (Tiffanie) of Auburn; his grandchildren, Hannah Cox Bodine (Matt) of Auburn and Blake Cox of Enterprise; his great grandchild Owen Bodine; his sisters, Donna Cox Peters (Rick) of Pinehurst, NC and Katherine Cox Symmes (Jim) of Greenville, SC; and his nieces and nephews, Andrew, Brian Symmes, Chloe and Sarah Peters.
