She was predeceased by: her husband Wilmer King; and her siblings, Lona Bell Wise, Connie Ruth Cosby, Faye Lewis, Fred Avant, Welcom Avant, Loicy Avant, Elmer Avant and Lennie Avant.
She is survived by: her daughter Glenda Keel (Charles) of La Grange, GA; her grandchildren, David Keel (Jennifer) of Fayetteville, GA, Denise Pierce (Brian) of Atlanta, GA and Dedra Wade (Heath) of Vestavia Hills, AL; and her brothers, Alive Avant (Johnnie Faye) of Samson and Wayne Avant of Mobile, AL.. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
