She was predeceased by: her husband Roy "White" Steele; her son Edward Roy Steele; her siblings, Othell Covington, Hazel Steele, Earl Crane, J. B. Crane, Leno Crane, Dwight Crane, Rudolph Crane, Arthur Crane, Joe Crane and James Crane; and her parents, Claude Crane and Emma Crane.
She is survived by: her daughters, Vera Jones (James), Phyllis Smothers (Wayne) and Windy Stone (Jerry Don); her daughter-in-law Tina Steele; her grandchildren, Jamie Jones (Shelby), Valerie Shook (Jonathan), April Poss (Josh), Chris Steele (Amanda), Justin Barnes (Lexie) and Casey Kennedy (Lee); and her niece Diane Ashley. She is also survived by several great grandchildren.
