He was predeceased by: his children, Cary Elliott Meadows and Sheila Gwen Meadows Cunningham; his sister Jennifer Lynn Meadows; and his parents, Elliott Meadows and Lela Faye Hambric Meadows.

He is survived by: his wife Rebecca Grace Parker Meadows of Gaylesville; his daughters, Rebecca Lynn Meadows of Gaylesville and Lela Marie Rowland (Kenneth) of Rome; his sister Sandra Davis of Birmingham; and his granddaughters, Krista Nicole Hargrove Hill and Sara Jo Rowland Sandes. He is also survived by 3 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
