He is survived by: his wife Charity Abernathy Mayes; his daughter Sabrina Clontz (Cody); his brothers, Charles Abernathy, Michael Abernathy, Gary Abernathy and Brent Abernathy; his parents-in-law, Robert and Faye Abernathy; his aunt Virginia Patty; his uncle Richard Mayes; his cousins, Timmy Ray and Melissa Williams; and his grandchildren, Huntley Clontz, Hensley Clontz, Hartley Clontz and Hadley Clontz.
