She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Gilstrap and Lois Gilstrap of Red Bank; her husband Robert Dale McWhorter; and her brothers, Sam and Max Gilstrap.
She is survived by: her children, Robert Dale McWhorter, Jr. (Terri Ann), William Allen McWhorter (Loretta) and Martha Sara McWhorter Shaw (Ralph); her grandchildren, Andrew Shaw (Natalie) and Emily Shaw Aderholt (Tyler); her great grandchildren, Daley Aderholt, Owen Shaw and Beau Shaw; her stepgranddaughter Sue Hope (Jerry); her stepgreat-grandchildren, Ray Hope, Tiffany Hope, Logan Hope, Jake Nash (Kayla) and Carter Nash; and her sister-in-law Louise Nelson.
