She was predeceased by: her parents, John Franklin Tucker, Sr. and Frances Leora Teague Tucker; and her husband James Leon Jones, Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Darlene McCullough (Richard), Franklin Jones (Jenny) and Beverly Trammell; her siblings, Junior Tucker (Donna) and Irene Owen; and her grandchildren, Eric McCullough (Sylvia), Lola Potts (Jeremy), Ashly Reynolds (Shane), Tiffany Ryan (Steven), Hillary Atchley and Melody Turberville (Rickey). She is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren.
