The passing of Jean Hansard of Gaylesville, Alabama leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on January 11, 2025 at the age of 70. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Enoch J. Nicholson and Lois Robertson Nicholson; her aunt Grace Robertson; and her brother Thomas Lee Nicholson. She is survived by: her husband Tommy Hansard; her sons, Casey Hansard and Cory Hansard (Cristy); her grandchildren, Abby, Ally, Easton and Adalyn Jean; her siblings, Benny Nicholson and Marlene Nixon; and her friend Ellen Gaylor McWhorter. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Perry Funeral Home (1611 Clarence E Chesnut Jr Bypass, Centre, AL 35960). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at the Cherokee Memory Gardens (1250 Piedmont Hwy, Centre, AL 35960).
The family will accept flowers or a contribution can be made in Jean's memory to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, to your local church's Lottie Moon Christmas Offering, or to Annie Armstrong Easter Offering in support of missions.
