It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gussie Ray Gamble of Gaylesville, Alabama, born in Cherokee, Alabama, who passed away on August 16, 2022, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband James Dillard Gamble; her siblings, Paul Ray, Mae Jackson, Vera Bentley, Nora Edith Dean and June Chadwick; and her parents, Ben H. Ray and Martha Elizabeth Speer Ray.
She is survived by: her children, Rondy Gamble, Tim Gamble (Lisa), Jeff Gamble (Laura "Sally") and Kay Gamble; her brother Jim Frank Ray; her grandchildren, Rhonda Grace (Tim) and Steven Rich; her great grandchildren, Magen Rich, Addie Martin and Lily Martin; and her close friends, Ellen Ray, Clara Allen and Nell Speer. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Flowers can be delivered to the Cemetery or donations may be made to Union Hill (Needmore) Cemetery Fund.
