He is survived by: his children, Susan McCoy (Brent), Earl Simpson Jr (Gay), Dennis Simpson, Troy Simpson and Hope Porter (Donny); and his siblings, Wayne Simpson (Christine), JoAnn Smith (Joe Dean), Janet Renfroe (Jack) and Nelta Wood (Douglas). He is also survived by nine grandchildren; two great- granddaughters; four great-grandsons.
