It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Danny Ray Cavin of Gaylesville, Alabama, who passed away on November 10, 2020, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Hoyt Cavin and Minnie Pearl Cavin; and his siblings, Marlin Cavin, David Cavin, Barbara Lindsey and Peggy Imogene Cavin.
He is survived by: his wife Penny Cavin; his children, Jason Cavin (Anthony), Dusty Cavin (Brittany), John David Hill and Amanda Grace (Lewis); his siblings, Ricky Cavin (Marie), Larry Lindsey, Sarah Griffin and Judy Ledford (Greg); his grandchildren, Dylan Cavin (Kristian), Nicholas Grace, Madison Grace, Mackenzie Cavin, Ashlin Grace, Hayden Cavin, Lucas Grace and Karlee Cavin; his great grandchild Ryker Cavin; and his sisters-in-law, Kay Rogers, Karen Popham, Sheila Toles and Diane Lively. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held privately. The Cavin family along with the staff of Mason Funeral Home remind anyone in attendance to keep in mind the current guidelines and restrictions set forth by the C. D. C. as it pertains to social gatherings including social distancing, gathering limits, and face masks.
