He is survived by: his children, Claude Ray "Shorty" Jenkins, Jr. (Susan), James Edward Jenkins (Carey), Tammy Lynn Jenkins Gafford (Tim) and Glenn Edward Jenkins (Marie); and his sister Shirley Sanford. He is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
