We are sad to announce that on June 26, 2020, at the age of 93, Alvin Ray of Gaylesville, Alabama passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Porter Alvin and Della Rhinehart Ray; his son James Ray; and his grandson Stephen Addison. He is survived by: his wife Mary Shearian Ray; his children, Lamar Addison, Michael Ray (Tricia), Randall Ray, Darryl Ray (Carla), Joyce Battles, Victoria Robbins, Pamela Porter, Kimberly Reynolds (Michael), Sharon Linder and Melba Kolman; and his siblings, Gene Ray (Rosemary), Maggie Tallent and Beatrice Reynolds. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
The Ray family along with the Staff of Mason Funeral Home encourage those in attendance to bear in mind the current guidelines and restrictions that have been set forth by the C.D.C. as it pertains to social gatherings.In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests donations be made to the charity of your choice.
