He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Graves and Mary Graves; and his siblings, William Graves, Jerry Graves and Francis Quinn.

He is survived by: his siblings, Arthur Graves, Frank Graves and Sherrell Elaine Graves; his children, William Graves, JT, Sheryl Turner and David Graves; his grandchildren, Jodi, Kaitlyn, Madison, Chloe, Clarke, Jett, Zeke, Elly, Adah and Lily; and his great grandchild John Rayburn.

In lieu of flowers, Marvin requested a donation in his memory to 1 Way Ministries so that the good news and great hope Marvin found in Jesus can be carried around the world.
